Thanksgiving is almost here!

It's been so chilly in the South Bay, but we wanted to help keep you warm with some treats and to remind you that Thanksgiving is just around the corner...don't forget to get your orders in for the holiday table. To ensure we can fit your order in, we'll be taking Thanksgiving orders until Friday, November 19th. Deadline for special or large orders is Monday, November 15th. Hope you're all staying warm!

Halloween Cupcakes

We've been creating some new items for Halloween but wanted to post a couple of inspired cupcakes from Martha Stewart: Mummy and Brain Cupcakes! Thanks Veronika for the opportunity to help with the fall festival today. Hope the kiddos enjoyed them!

After much testing (and tasting) - we've added another "signature" item to our menu: Luscious Lemon Blueberry Coffee Cake. For our fellow GF friends, we also offer this on our new/updated Gluten Free menu.

A little behind...

Happy Fall Everyone! We've been a little behind in posting some new fall items from our menu but we've been busy baking some of our signature items and lots and lots of cupcakes lately. Soooo thankful to my awesome team at Aol for corporate exposure and some new friends and customers! More to come...

Homemade Granola

There's a chill in the air...and now that summer is officially over (well, maybe not quite yet in the Bay Area and Las Vegas :-)) - it's time for some comfort foods. Starting this week we're featuring some fall flavors to tempt your taste buds. To start, our new line of homemade (and gluten-free) granola: Tupelo Honey Mix, Honey Almond Mix (made with local yummy honey) and Cinnamon-Pumpkin Crunch. All 100% natural and pure. Great for topping your favorite yogurt or fruit, or snacking right out of the bag!

Goodbye Summer - Hello Fall

Happy almost-end-of-August Everyone! We hope you've had a great summer, relaxed and snuck in a treat here and there to make life just a little sweeter. Speaking of, we've been on our own summer hiatus but are back and have already been busy baking. There's much "to do" on our lists and we're so excited to launch a new menu in the coming weeks (also featuring some "back to school" treats) but if you'd like to sneak a peak or have an order, call or email us!

Summer Baking

We've been busy the past few weeks baking for Grads, Dads and all sorts of occassions.  One that we are having fun with is just the season of summer.  Below are some treats we've baked for what seems to have been our "regulars" and some fun new customers.

Happy 4th of July!

Ice Cream Cone Shortbread Cookies that were inspired from a trip to one of our favorite markets.  We are loving the all-natural dyre-free decorating sugar - they just make us smile :)

Happy Father's Day to all the fabulous Papas out there!

Somehow, brownies have invaded the kitchen...from fudgy, chewy, moist brownies to the loaded up with hunks of chocolate chips brownies below, we certainly were not complaining about making these.

S'more Marshmallows Please! And Don't forget Dads and Grads!

'Tis the season for Dads and Grads and we've been busy creating something special for them...like good 'ole homemade marshmallows, graham crackers, a signature chocolate sauce = our signature s'more kit!

While we've tried to stay away from them....we've given in.  We're making whoopie...pies!!!  More to come on these nostalgic treats as we're working on several flavors for our menu :)

Graduation Cupcakes

Happy Graduation - Class of 2010!

Earlier this week, these little treats were given to some very special preschool graduates. Each one had their name piped in chocolate with a royal icing cap and tassel...we loved making these special treats - thanks Miss Robin for the use of the cupcake stand!

We're a bit in awe, really.  We just can't say THANK YOU enough to all of you who have supported this new endeavor these past 2 months.  Since our "coming out" via Facebook and the outing at Nordstrom Park in town, we've been so busy and baking daily orders. 

Then there was Mother's Day. 

What an awesome experience to help so many of you create something special just for Mom.  There were many other orders not necessarily for Mom, but we were so busy we forgot to snap photos of many of those treats, which included Deep Dark Chocolate Truffles, Strawberry and Vanilla French Macarons, Mini Chocolate Truffle Cupcakes, Meyer Lemon Blueberry Coffee Cake and our Signature Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies (we think we've made 40 dozen of these yummy guys already) and our Signature Red Velvet Cupcakes.  Below are just a few pics that we could get to, so we hope you enjoy.  Again, thank you.

Mother's Day is Coming!

It's been too long since our last post but we've been busy baking and fulfilling orders (thanks again for your continued support and referalls) and working on new dessert items to add to our final draft for our menu.  In the meantime, we're taking orders until the end of this Sunday, May 2nd for Mother's Day treats.  We were inspired by Martha Stewart's Stained Glass Critter Cookies and Bakerella's cupcakes to sweeten up Mom's Day with these goodies.
